My eight year old has never seen Game of Thrones, however he demanded these be his mittens, probabaly because of the softness of the wool. Easy to follow pattern, the direwolf pattern comes out really well, and could be a good introduction to colour work (However no separate instructions for instarsia are included if you are totally new) In short, a quick, easy, great product.
This unisex mitt kit has been created by OneHandKnits and Literally Yarn especially for The Yarn Cafe. The design for the motif on the mitts is inspired by the grey direwolf logo for the Stark House from the hit series, Game of Thrones. The mitts are knitted flat and seamed. The kit contains the yarn needed to create a pair of mitts, in unique colours for this kit and pattern with full colour chart.
The pattern is suitable for a moderately experienced knitter.
The mitts can be knitted in four sizes:

Being a big fan of the programme, Game of Thrones, I bought the Stark kit to knit. The motif is a great representation of the direwolf and the wool is gorgeously soft.
Beautiful yarn, lovely pattern, fun to knit. Came out a little loose on the hand, but otherwise spot on.
