This beautiful vintage inspired yarn is made of 100% Exmoor Blueface and is a collaboration between designer Susan Crawford and John Arbon of Fibre Harvest. Excelana yarn is 100% British wool, spun from the fleece of the Exmoor Blueface, which live on the moors of North Devon. A cross between the Exmoor Horn and the Bluefaced Leicester, the fleece of the Exmoor Blueface creates a lustrous yarn with a soft handle, great stretch and excellent stitch definition, affording the knitter a pleasurable knitting experience.
It is 4-ply weight, in 50g balls and available in 8 complimentary colours:
Alabaster, Nile Green, Cornflower Blue, Persian Grey, Ruby Red, Saharan Sand, French Rose and Powdered Egg.
