This beautiful cowl pattern is part of the Winter Warmer's collection and has been created by OneHandKnits especially for The Yarn Cafe.  It is available as an online download. This pattern is suitable for beginners. The plaited cowl is knitted in the round (thus requires no seaming) and is stretchy enough to fit over the head whilst fitting snugly on the neck. The pattern has been designed for one size (22.5cm or 8.75 inches deep) but the size can be amended. There are comprehensive instructions together with charts for the design.

The pattern can also be purchased with the matching mittens and beret - the full set of patterns costs £7.00.
