Product Description
This beautiful 5-ply Guernsey yarn consists of 100% Pure New Wool and is produced by Frangipani. It is traditionally used on small needles to create Guernsey (gansey) or Fisherman's jumpers. As it is available in 26 colours, it can be used for fair isle designs. Note that the picture shows a 500g cone to give an indication of the colour - the actual 100g cone is smaller.

Pattern Ideas
There yarn can be used to create a traditional Guernsey jumper (a gansey) , hats, mittens, gloves, sock yarns and even phone covers. Liz Lovick has a number of patterns on her site Northern Lace which use this yarn and there are some beautiful patterns on Ravelry.
